Homecoming & Spirit Week at CCA

The CCA Homecoming Court

Every year at Canyonville Christian Academy, we prepare for homecoming with a big competition between Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman to see who has the most school spirit. We had a banner competition where classes worked together to create colorful door banners for their homeroom doors. The contest heated up as each day was a different Spirit day with Seniors ahead one day and the Junior class the
next day.

At the end of the week, it was the Freshman class who had the most points and won a pizza party for their class. Below is a small description of each day. The CCA Pilots won their homecoming game against the Livingston Lions! To see photos of Spirit Week, look at our Flickr page located to the right of this story.

Pajama Day

What a way to start out the day! Students arrived at school in their pajamas to start off the Spirit Week competition. We had great participation but hopefully there was no snoring in class!

On this day, costumes were made with whatever the students could find. The staff and faculty were amazed at our CCA student’s creativity.

What better way to show your friend how much you care for him than to make him your twin for the day!
