Donate To The Chibok Girls’ Scholarship Fund

chibok girl, nigeria, welcome, united states, canyonville christian academy, bring back our girls

Thank you for your help

In April, 2014, 274 teenage girls attending a private boarding school in Chibok, Nigeria were kidnapped and enslaved by Boko Haram terrorists.  The school was burned to the ground.  A group of girls escaped, some by jumping off of a speeding truck.

In 2014-2015, Canyonville Christian Academy provided continuing education for four of the Chibok girls and one other victim of religious persecution.  In 2016, we took seven Chibok girls.  Two of these girls remained at CCA and are graduating in the Spring of 2017.  We have arranged for full scholarships, with room and board, to American Universities for these graduates.

We welcome your donation to help cover the costs of this project.

For those who have already donated, thank you for helping these brave young ladies adjust to a new life, far away from home and find healing from the trauma of their recent experiences.

You can make your donation payable to Canyonville Christian Academy and write in the memo part of the check, “Chibok Girls’ Scholarship Fund.”  Mail to Canyonville Christian Academy, PO Box 1100, Canyonville, Oregon 97417.

Or you can also help by making a direct donation online via paypal that is exclusively setup for the education and living expenses of the Chibok Girls while they are at CCA.

It is also possible to donate to two girls directly, Joy Bishara and Lydia Pogu, through their GoFundMe campaign

  4. I have been praying for these girls ever since their kidnapping. They are constantly in my prayers and I praised The Lord when these girls managed to escape. I would also like to sew financially in their lives; however, I am a contractor in Afghanistan and can only give via credit cards. I have no checks and don’t prescribe to PayPal Any recommendations?

  5. Thank you Gil for your prayers for these beautiful girls. You can donate through PayPal using a credit card without being a member. There is an option for that once you click donate.

  6. Thank you so much for setting this up to help these girls! I heard about the kidnapping on the news but wasn’t sure what I could do to get involved. It’s good to have another reminder that while there are people doing despicable things, there are also warm, kind individuals doing everything they can to spread love and happiness. Thank you for helping make this world a better place!
