Canyonville Christian Academy‘s boys’ and girls’ track teams got the season under way  against 10 schools in the 17th annual Crusader Relays March 18.

The top effort for the boys came in the 800 meter sprint medley relay (2nd place, 1:47.7).  The girls’ highest finish came in the 4×200 meter relay (4th place, 2:11.6).   Samuel Kim was the leading Pilot in a field event (3rd, triple jump, 36-7.5).

For many of the CCA athletes, this was their first-ever  competition.
