It was an excellent year for the Track & Field team at Canyonville Christian Academy!!

Head Coach Cathy Lovato along with Jumps/Distance coach Erin Payne and Throws coach Mike Stansberry worked tirelessly with the 20 young men and 10 young women who participated on the team. This year’s district meet brought 7 individual qualifiers for the OSAA State 2A Championships as well as the 4×100 relay team. Every athlete who participated this year improved from the first meet – setting personal bests all along the way.  Jack Yoo, a senior from South Korea, was awarded MVP for the season.  Jack, a jumper and sprinter placed 1st in twelve events throughout the season & 2nd in 4 more.  Jack qualified for state in both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump and placed 4th and 3rd respectively.
