Richard Wang ’04

canyonville christian academy, boarding school alumni, international business strategies, Richard Wang class of ’04 is from Dalian, Northern China. He came to Canyonville Christian Academy without knowing one word of English.  Richard worked hard to learn English while at the boarding school,  and said it took him 3 months before being able to communicate. After he graduated CCA in 2004, Richard then went to Central Washington University to pursue a BA in Business Administration, specializing in Supply Chain Management and Marketing Management.  During this time, Richard started working at Boeing as an intern.

Since then, Richard worked at The Boeing Company, and served as the Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Analyst rotational assignments for the Executive Managing Director of Asia in Global Supply Chain Management to help with strategic and policy initiatives related to China, India, and Korea.  He also served as the Product Manager to help the execution of Boeing enterprise’s Supply Chain Predictive Analytic Systems.

In 2010, Richard Wang received an executive certificate from the Tunderbird School of Global Management in International Marketing Strategy.  In 2011, he received an executive certificate from the University of Notre Dame for negotiation.

Currently, Richard is serving as the Vice President of Business Strategy and Development for Village88.com, a technology incubator and consulting firm based in Silicon Valley and Seattle. He is also pursuing a professional degree from the Stanford University for Strategic Decision and Risk Management. Richard has also been recently accepted into the University of Washington for the Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design.
