Darrell (Jake) Lake ’63
Darrel (Jake) Lake class of ’63 and wife Char, both retired, report they are continuing to work on their bucket list.
Their latest adventure included an Atlantic crossing by cruise ship and a 30 – day tour of Europe that covered a dozen countries and went as far east as St. Petersburg, Russia. The Lakes were greeted in Finland by a number of his relatives.

It was so much fun travelling with the Lakes to Europe. We’ll be doing another cruise to the Panama Canal with them in April. I think we have caught the cruising bug. Any other cruisers out there?
22 cruises to date, none for a couple of years but probably again this fall. I was a year head of Darrel. Slept in his motel in 64 at graduations. saw his best friend in LA several years later. Ah, the name returns, Wayland Wagner, I think he passed on a couple of years ago., His valentine card to his love was something to the effect of, I ain’t handsome but I’m faithful.
