With some of our leading runners missing the meet, Canyonville Christian Academy’s boys’  track team finished second to Pacific High School at the Jack Blum Invitational in Reedsport April 20.  Seven schools attended the meet.

Top finishers for the Pilots were Calob Reimer (1st in 800 meters and 2nd in the 400 meter run with a time of 53.85) and Diego Rubi (1st in the 1500 meter run 2nd in the 800 meter run).  Tyler Mercier came in 3rd in the 300m hurdles.

 

Also, the boys 4×100 relay came in 3rd (Victor Gulyaev, Yannick Sesonga, Max Ng, Destin Musonin) with a time of 50.96.

Additionally, in the 4×400 Relay, the boys team took 2nd place with a time of 4:09.20.  (Kelly Kamanzi, Nathaniel Bates, Oscar Gutierrez, Tyler Mercier)

For the girls, Esther Cyubahiro took 2nd n the Triple Jump at 29-04.00
