Topping the Oregon state rankings in the 2016 high school stock market competition was Canyonville Christian Academy’s Brian Powell.  His  $100,000 portfolio grew to $163,999 in just 10 weeks, giving him a winning margin of more than $25,000 over the second ranked team from Jesuit High School (Portland).
Marie Mukazayire finished with $134,783 for third place and Aldona Knysiak was 4th in the final rankings.  More than 200 teams and individuals competed in this Spring game.

Capital Hill Challenge News

In an unusual move, CCA was not invited to participate in the national stock market game (Capital Hill Challenge) which Canyonville won the last two years and went 1-2 in 2015.
