The morning started with students boarding the busses at 7:45am on Friday, September 18th.  Their high school was taking them on an all school fun day at the beautiful Oregon coast.  Two hours later, the busses arrived at the coast where the fun began.

Students were separated into 3 large groups.  While one group went riding the Giant Dune Buggy and seeing the scenic Oregon coast, the other 2 groups were taken to a buffet lunch.  Following the lunch, the two groups had the opportunity to ride go karts, bumper boats or play miniature golf.  When the first group of students finished riding the sand dunes, they were taken to the buffet lunch, while the others either went to ride on the sand dunes in the Giant Dune Buggies or do other activities.

Oregon has sand dunes that are both beautiful and impressive.  The dune buggy tour is an excellent way to view this scenic part of Oregon’s coastline. 

Students were taking selfies with new friends, laughing during the activities, and just enjoying the beauty all around them.  New friendships were made, laughter filled the air, memories were being created, all while having fun on Canyonville Christian Academy’s day out!

What a wonderful opportunity for the boarding school students to get to know each other and see the beauty of Oregon’s coastline.

Now that was a fun and adventurous day!
