Canyonville Christian Academy Welcomes Hannah Johnson!

Canyonville Christian Academy is excited to welcome Hannah Johnson to our CCA family!  Hannah will be the live-in dean (houseparent) for our beautiful and historic girls’ dorm, Hinn Hall.  Ms. Johnson joins us from Sacramento, California and is excited to meet all of the students at CCA!   Hannah has a Bachelor of Arts in biblical counseling.  She recently received her Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and is excited to use her training to help students in various ways.  Before coming to CCA, Ms. Johnson taught middle school English and literature.  She also was a Resident Director at a university in California.  Hannah loves residence life and having the opportunity to mentor and impact students.  Ms. Johnson is looking forward to experiencing the diversity of our campus with all of its different cultures, languages, and backgrounds.  Hannah loves working with people from other cultures because it challenges her view on her own culture as well as her view on the world.  She enjoys discussing cultural differences and learning about the various ways in which people think and live.  Languages fascinate her; in particular, she loves seeing the intricate ways language and culture intersect.
