Pilots Shine at First Day of State Track!

Canyonville Christian Academy boys got off to a fast start in the first day of the OSAA 2A Oregon track championships!
Gabriel Martin was the fastest qualifier and lowered his own school record in the 100 meter dash with a mark of 11.35. In the 200, he advanced to the finals with his second school record of the day, running a time 23.15 into the wind.
Also advancing to the finals was fourth ranked Calob Reimer in the 400. (All state times are fully auto timing.)
In addition to runners in the finals of the 100, 200, and 400, Canyonville Christian Academy will also have entrants in the 800, 1500, and 1600 relay in the final day of state meet competition at Hayward Field in Eugene.
