PILOTS LOSE A PAIR OF CLOSE GAMES
The Canyonville Christian Academy boy’s basketball team came oh-so-close in two league games the last week of January.
In a home game with the Riddle, the Pilots came from six points down in the final minute of play to tie the game, only to see it slip away on a pair of free throws by the Irish in the final two seconds.
CCA then played traditional league power-house Oakland on their floor. The Pilots were within just one point of the Oakers at halftime but fell short by a final score of 51-41.
