November brings some exciting events! This month is Canyonville Christian Academy’s annual Field Day and Junior Pie Auction! CCA will also have shopping trips to Eugene & Roseburg, Oregon, a game show night, and a volleyball tournament, which will include students and adults from CCA. For sports, November is a transitional time. Fall sports have ended and preparation for winter sports have begun. Boys & girls have started conditioning for basketball season and tryouts for cheerleading have been held.

In November, Canyonville Christian Academy also celebrates Thanksgiving! This is a great experience for CCA’s international students. They will learn more about American culture and experience a traditional Thanksgiving meal as a CCA family.

Then, at the end of the month, November 25-30, Canyonville Christian Academy has Thanksgiving Break. This year Mike & Jami Stansberry are taking a school trip to Washington state to the Great Wolf Lodge. Here students will be able to enjoy a water park and will also have the opportunity to go Black Friday shopping as well as several other activities. CCA’s vacation breaks are an excellent way for students to see the West Coast of the U.S., experience American culture, and continue to improve their English skills.
