[u_heading css_animation=”appear”]Canyonville Christian Academy’s Volleyball Team has their best season![/u_heading]

Canyonville Christian Academy’s volleyball team has been steadily improving. This private school’s volleyball team is made up of students from all over the world.  Many of these students have never played this type of sport before.

As a volleyball team, they play against students who have been playing volleyball for years.  They also play against teams who have been practicing together before the school year even starts and some have even gone to volleyball camps over the summer.

This year Canyonville Christian Academy’s volleyball team played very competitively and skillfully against their opponents, finally bringing in victory!  This shows the great talent, dedication and hard work of CCA’s students.

The team has overcome many obstacles as they work to personally improve in the sport.  They have also learned to work as a team. They allow their diversity of being from different cultures and speaking different languages enrich their teamwork, friendships and lives.

“Everyday, our goal was simple. Be better at the end of the day than we were at the beginning. I believe we accomplished that. Imagine if we took this approach with everything we do…  I’m hoping that this is more than a volleyball thing, but a life long goal.” – Coach Brian Fye

We are very proud of our girls!  They are overcomers and have worked together with teamwork & heart while continually encouraging each other to play hard to the very end.

*Special thanks to everyone who came out to support them and helped make the season possible!

So it was great to have an opportunity to be on the team and have Mr Fye as the coach. I will miss playing on this team and I’m excited for this group to have more wins next season![/u_testimonial_item][u_testimonial_item name=”Malhi Beltran (Mexico)” title=”Senior & Team Captain “]Volleyball at CCA taught me to work together as a team, cheer each other when we struggle and have some fun. It is not always about winning the game. It is about putting our talents together and making the team better! [/u_testimonial_item][u_testimonial_item name=”Malhi Beltran (Mexico)” title=”Senior & Team Captain”]Mr. Fye is the best coach because having girls from different parts of the world who are playing volleyball for the first time is hard, but he works with us. It is not easy to do, but he can do it better than anyone else![/u_testimonial_item][/u_testimonial]
