Sarah Bates ’09 and Emily Bates ’11, daughters of Shelley Jasper Smith ’79, are now in England as members of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) performing arts group. The girls and their team will be witnessing during July and August at the Summer Olympics in London. The troupe, for which Sarah is on staff, will also travel to Scotland and The Netherlands.

Don and Helen Bass 1965-6 (staff)

After teaching at CCA, Don went on to earn a doctorate and spent a career teaching in college and directing Christian schools. After “retiring” they spent seven years in the Muslin countries of Turkey and Yemen involved in Missionary work. They now make their home in Texas where they are ministering to those in need.
