CCA is proud of its ESL Program faculty who bring many years of education and experience to the program. Each of our gifted teachers work diligently to make sure that every student has what he or she needs to succeed in their study of English.

cathylovatoCathy Lovato – ESL Speech, SAT Prep, Advanced English Survey

Education: Bachelor of Science in Religious Education (International Bible College, San Antonio, TX); TESOL Certificate (in Process, Oregon State University).
Mrs. Lovato has been teaching at CCA for ten years. She has twenty years’ experience teaching children and young adults, as well as working as a translator while serving the Lord as a missionary in Europe and Mexico. Mrs. Lovato enjoys good films, good books and gourmet cooking.

gudeclarkesparzaGude Clark-Esparza – Basic Christianity – Old Testament and New Testament

Education: B.S. in Biblical Education (Logos Bible College; Florida); TEFL Certificate (British Embassy School; Mexico Campus).

Mrs. Esparza has been working at CCA for eight years. She has fourteen years’ experience teaching high school and middle school students. Before becoming a teacher, she and her husband worked near Monterey, Mexico, where they started two churches, helped to build three missions in desolated areas, and served as co-pastors in two churches. Her hobbies include listening to Christian music, reading, traveling, attending cultural events, and cooking Mexican food.
