Canyonville Christian Academy’s tennis team has been growing stronger for the 5th year now under the guidance of Brian Fye.
Brian is no stranger to tennis, being involved in coaching for the past 11 years. Brian Fye started out at Northwest Nazarene College where he assisted in coaching for 2 years. He then coached tennis for 4 years in Caldwell, Idaho and the past 5 years he’s been coaching tennis here at Canyonville Christian Academy.
This year the tennis team consisted of 12 players. Basically it was a guys team with girls on it. CCA’s tennis team has played from 1A to 4A teams anywhere from Sisters, Oregon to Klamath Falls, Oregon, over to North Bend, Oregon and up to Philmath which is a 4A team. They have played from private schools to public schools.
