Fernando Esparza has coached soccer for 3 years at Canyonville Christian Academy. Fernando loves the sport and was heavily involved with soccer during his high school and college days, where he played for a total of 8 years. During that period of time, Fernando played for the Official League Soccer of Mexico, and helped coach at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterey, Mexico.
In 2006-2007, Coach Esparza helped bring Canyonville Christian Academy’s team up to 2nd place in Oregon’s league.
This is Mr. Halseide’s first year coaching soccer. Because he knows that soccer is the best sport in the world, he also loves the passion CCA’s players have for the game.
