Roger Shaffer’s Seminar Class Dominates Spring Investment Competition
Canyonville Christian Academy’s entries easily captured first place in the Oregon Stock Market Game that ended April 17, 2014.
The seminar students made over a 62% return in the 10-week investing competition that included more than 450 teams from around the state. The leading non-CCA entries (Trillium Charter School from Portland and Reynolds of Troutdale) ended the Spring game with a 9% return.
With just under three weeks remaining in the national competition, seminar class is locked in a tight race for first place in the 4,000 team event.
