 Aerial view of CCA

CCA is centrally located in southern Oregon between the Pacific Ocean, the Cascade Mountains, Ashland's Shakespearean Theatre, and Eugene - home of the University of Oregon Ducks and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.  Numerous cultural and recreational trips are planned each year to these and other locations.

The town of Canyonville (pop. 1300) is directly off Interstate 5, just 25 miles south of Roseburg and 45 miles north of Grants Pass. International students and those who live out-of-state fly into the Eugene or Medford airports.

CCA's campus sets on the edge of town within walking distance to the bank, post office, market and a number of business establishments.
The main buildings on campus are the chapel, classrooms, girls' and boys' dormitories, auditorium, gymnasium, student center and administrative offices.

Canyon Creek divides east from west campus, with the science lab and track on the east side.

CCA's beautiful, 13 building campus includes gym, dorms, science lab, auditorium, chapel, computer lab, and tennis courts. Towering redwood trees dot the campus and a picturesque mountain stream runs through the middle. Canyonville is a small, historic town nestled in the Cascade Mountains of southern Oregon. We are halfway between the Pacific Ocean and Crater Lake National Park and not far from the California border.

Founded in 1924 by A.M Shaffer, CCA is one of the oldest Christian boarding schools in the western United States. We have day classes for the local community and boarding facilities for grades 9 through 12, with college prep and ESL curriculum. A strong emphasis is placed on developing character and enhancing life skills by our dedicated Christian faculty. Our student to teacher ratio is approximately 15:1.

Our board Co-Chairmen include Mark Victor Hansen, author of the best-selling book, Chicken Soup for the Soul, entertainer Pat Boone and former White House special assistant to the President of the United States, Doug Wead, who is an alumnus. CCA graduates have gone on to Stanford, Oxford and more than a hundred major universities around the world. Alumni include the President of Toledo University, the provosts of Biola University, and the president of Northwest College.
